Born with an abundance of the subtler, more mystical energies, the native often finds it hard to place himself within the concrete world as it exists around him.  Appearing as a mystery to those who know him, he often feels similarly about not only himself, but all that around him.  The native will be emboldened with a natural sense of the world and existence as being oceanic mysteries that cannot be explained by the material sciences.  Indeed, any ideology that smacks of the worship of the mundane or predictable will be immediately denied and rejected.  Here is the classic poet, romantic and betrothed to a deeper vision of life.  Whatever confusion, sense of longing and loneliness may pervade the daily operations of the mind, there will nonetheless be a permanence to the beauty that the imagination will inspire.  The primary motivations will be informed by strong sub-conscious energies – the very same energies that give rise to the imagination, sensitivity and feeling-nature.  Many of the motivations and drives, arisen as they have in the meta-human context of the sub-conscious, will not be understood by the casual observer.  Indeed, to most of his acquaintances (including perhaps the family), the native will come across as dreamy, lethargic and entirely unrealistic.  This is because he is only living a certain percentage of his time in the tangible world – the rest of the time the individual’s energies and person are away on dreamy journeys through the fantastic realm of the sub-conscious, that place where the creative forces of the universe have taken up seat within the imagination.

Extremely sensitive on all counts, over-stimulus of the self can result in negative experiences, particularly when the stimuli themselves are negative in nature and borrowed un-filtered.  For the self can become the environment, dissolving as a solute.  In this way, the sadness of a mate will become the sadness of the individual too, and perhaps even magnified as there will be no rational process of cause and effect with which to filter these feelings.  Similarly, experiences of the sub-conscious will colour the mood of the native; if a day-dream has consisted of a fantasy of psychotic violence, the native will be left feeling a touch emotionally and/or mentally ill.

One possibility is, however, despite the inherent compassion that marks much of the subject’s character, there can at times be a seemingly contradictory coldness to the concerns of others.  Always desirous of especial and sympathetic treatment from others, the individual may choose to ignore or deny the problems of others when they in someway offend his romantic view of life.  His internal world is perfect, and therefore there is the tendency to regard imperfection in the real-world with disdain or denial. In this way, he can even become quite critical in his relationships.

The mind and the intellect are in high focus in the life of the native.  The mind will work in nebulous ways, and much confusion in the thoughts will be present.  Yet, for all this diffusion in the mind, there will be much beauty and universality to the intellect: here is a poet for the ages, a man who through the visions alive in the sub-conscious is able to communicate much of the human condition in words, song and other forms of expression.  The creative drive will be high and the arts will feel a natural forum for what must be expressed.  The potent physical energies will explain themselves best through the imagination, thus heightening the creative powers ever more.

Although sensitive, retiring and soft, there is an underlying theme of fire, passion and adventurousness to the native.  Restlessness and adaptability are key themes, and intuitive journeys through the twin realms of ideas and ideals will be enjoyed.  There is a passion and a joy in life that comes across warmly in the myriad enthusiasms of the individual.  The ego will be expressed positively, honestly and enthusiastically.  There will be much joviality to the native, and a religious, philosophical and moral depth to his experiences.  He will certainly be open to the higher ideas and ideals of his world.  At times though, the native may fall into serious depressions as a result of feeling restricted or limited by his real-world conditions.  Along with the wealth of optimism, there will also ride a vein of negativity that works to inhibit or repress the ego, filling the subject at times with much guilt and self-loathing, leading perhaps to crippling self-esteem issues.  There is a strong fear for the health, as there is for the ability to journey and grow.

The ego needs to grow and expand in a philosophical sense; overseas travel, higher learning or experiences in publishing or the law may aid this.  Sometimes, the native will find this need to grow at odds with a further need for a stability in the home.  And certainly the home and family, along with the sentiments, the past and antiques of all sorts will be foremost on the list of the native’s core values.  There is an instinctual need for familiarity, and much emotional comfort will be derived from stability and a feeling of being in control of the immediate physical environment.  The native likes to know what is going to happen before it happens.

The individual will feel the glamour of the overtly masculine pursuits: action sports and their heroes, for example, will be idealised.

There will be a unique, somewhat erratic side to the native.  There may be a perversion of sorts, which is not at all negative, so long as it is accepted and owned.  A high level of nervous energy will course the veins, and stress and nervous illness may never be too far away.  Original and of beautiful, inspired thoughts, the native possesses much creative talent; sitting still enough to complete a work however might be little challenge.  The central problem is that there are simply too many ideas – so many, in fact, that the mind is constantly being bombarded by them, and the native does not know which to pursue.

Even as he sits at work, he is being tempted to abandon what he is doing to pursue a new, sexier idea.

In love, the individual will possess much passion and intensity, although this will be tempered with a desire for a certain level of freedom – there will be a need for the subject to occasionally step away from his partner and enjoy his independent mind indulgently.  The partner may ‘cling on’ if she feels threatened by this.

The spirituality will be strong, though not necessarily well defined.  The individual will not follow any traditional religion and religious conservatism will be anathema to him.  His beliefs will be unique, original and perhaps even a little perverse.  But they will also be inspired by earthly love and beauty in all of its physical forms.  However, if the native’s spirituality is so unique that it sections him from his fellows and his experience of the world around him, he may fall into feelings of alienation and despair.  He may feel that the world is not for him and he may even longer leave it.

His view of humanity will be serious and critical.  The individual will not have a lot of time for the frivolous side of the human experience.  He will find himself jealous of those who can indulge in the lighter side of life, and may even come to resent them.  Seeing the human experience as a mode of expressing success, the native will have strong ambition for world achievement.  He will want to be ‘somebody’

Health and work issues will be the areas sorely tested in this life time.  Although a dedicated and serious worker, many obstacles will have to be overcome before work offers success.  Health may be poor and depressive illnesses will feature, as will colds and flus.  The subject is likely to be a hypochondriac.

The evolutionary requirement for this life time is transformation.  By this it is meant that the individual must metaphorically die and be re-born, giving rise to a new way of being.  This shall be achieved through the movement towards genuine self-love, self-reliance and self-value.  Once the native is able to stand alone in the world financially and materially as a result of his own efforts, he will come to realise what it truly means to value the self.  And then the necessary transformation can take place, and death, creation (in the elemental form of sex) and the abyss can then be faced and understood.
